The Crestwood Scarlet Guard Marching Band
Since its founding in 1951, the Crestwood High School Band program, proudly known as the Scarlet Guard  has a tradition of musical excellence, dedication, and pride. The band is recognized as one of the top programs in Ohio, to continue in this tradition of success requires a high degree of dedication, effort, and pride on the part of each person involved.

The band has qualified for the OMEA State Marching Band Finals an impressive 39 times in the past 42 years, and is an eight-time Bands of America Regional Class A Champion, most recently earning top honors at the 2025 Northwest Ohio Regional Championships. The Scarlet Guard is also a three-time Bands of America Regional Championship Finalist and has proudly performed at the Bands of America Grand National Championships.

In addition to adjudicated performances, the Scarlet Guard represents the Crestwood community through appearances at varsity football games, parades, community events, festivals, and invited performances.
