The Crestwood 7th & 8th Grade Bands have consistently participated in OMEA Adjudicated Events earning Superior & Excellent Ratings, and twice been invited to perform at the OMEA State Conference. The Students at the Middle School level have the opportunity to experience a wider array of music and instrumentation. Select students are able to play French horn, euphonium, tuba, oboe, and bassoon. Daily classroom time, along with sectional instruction during the week, allows our students to greatly improve their knowledge and skills.

Our Middle School Bands perform at three concerts throughout the year. The 7th and 8th Grade Bands also have the opportunity to perform in the Solo and Ensemble in March and the OMEA Large Group Adjudication in May.

7th & 8th graders have the opportunity to have a "marching band night" with the Crestwood Scarlet Guard Marching band in fall.  They are also invited to join our combined middle school jazz band that meets after school on Wednesday November-May.
