Crestwood Jazz Band
Over the years, the Crestwood High School Jazz Band has proudly represented our program at festivals and events throughout Northeast Ohio, including the Tri-C JazzFest and the Ashland University Jazz Festival. These performances provide students with valuable opportunities to learn from clinicians, hear outstanding ensembles, and grow as musicians within a vibrant jazz community.
The Crestwood Jazz Band is made up of students who share a genuine passion for jazz, funk, blues, and swing. Rehearsing outside of the school day, this dedicated ensemble focuses on building strong fundamentals from style and improvisation to ensemble balance and musical expression. Open to any student in the Crestwood Band program, Jazz Band offers a space for musicians to challenge themselves, collaborate, and experience the energy and creativity that make jazz such a powerful and enduring art form.
